Look Mexico has posted a new song from their new EP, Gasp Asp. The EP is the follow up to the critically acclaimed 2007 full length, This Is Animal Music, which appeared on more than one "Best of 2007" chart here on Punknews.org. The EP is available digitally through iTunes via this link, and will also be available on CD and 7-inch on their forthcoming tour dates.

Congratulations to the Pomegranates who are this week’s featured artist on Monolith’s Festival Page. They are set to play the 2008 festival, being held September 13th & 14th at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO. Festival highlights include: TV on the Radio, Band of Horses, Silversun Pickups, Vampire Weekend, Cut Copy, The Kills, and more.

Heads Up! Mouse Fire News For those that do not have their fingers on the pulse of Lakeland, Florida, Mouse Fire have changed things up a bit.  Frontman Joey Bruce (vocals, guitar) made the decision to part ways with the rest of the band a couple of months ago.  His talent and showmanship will be missed.

Lujo Records is known for putting out some of my favorite rock albums. I say it time and time again that were it not for the boutique indie labels like them, we’d be much worse off as a music consuming nation.
