    We Covet Old Skool Toys

    http://www.wecovet.com/ wecovet/ 2008/ 11/ we-covet-old-sc.html

This wooden mommy and baby pull toy almost makes me want to have another baby, it is so cute! You could put it in the nursery as decoration until your tyke can toddle or keep in in your living room as retro decor. Oliebollen.com has several of these wooden pull toys that I like, the hippo is very tempting.

    Not Your Average Shoe: Polliwalks

    http://www.coolbabykid.com/ 2008/ 11/ not-your-average-shoe-polliwalks.html

One component of review writing involves classifying the product. Is it a toy, article of clothing, website, book? Coming across a one I can't immediately put into a category is usually a good sign, as in the case of my new favorite shoes: Polliwalks. Though definitely a shoe, it's also part toy as they are designed to look like an animal.

More Than Just A Giraffe Puzzle From KId-O

    http://babble.com/ CS/ blogs/ droolicious/ archive/ 2008/ 11/ 21/ more-than-just…

My daughter is really into creating and recognizing patterns, and if you've got a young one in your life who is similar, you'll probably want to check this out. The "Noticing Differences - Giraffes" puzzle shows kids the subtle differences between the giraffes. So what's so special? But the cool thing is it's no ordinary puzzle either.
