Today this blog turned one month old. Looking back at it, I’m proud of what has been accomplished in the last month. I’ve learned a lot and gotten a taste of it and enjoy it too much to stop now. I will be trying to increase the amount of original content coming to this site.

As we prepare the house for the long winter ahead, I have cozy on my mind. A few of my favorite cold weather items, to keep me (and my kids) toasty warm in our home… Flor tiles at our back doors. It’s the entrance for our dogs from the wet backyard, and I can’t figure out how to keep it clean.

I used to be a skinny girl.  I loved being a skinny girl.  When I got pregnant with my first I weighed 126 pounds.  Unfortunately, there wasn’t a buffet that could keep me down.  I was a power eater.  I just didn’t get full.  I’d only stop eating when I was sick of chewing the food.

Here in New York it’s getting pretty chilly. Personally I don’t mind the cold, but now that I have a rambunctious toddler I’m desperately searching for indoor activities that will get us through the winter. This mini golf set might be the perfect occupier that also unleashes some energy.
