Early next year, US market will get a new four-door compact sedan from Kia, which will replace the current generation Spectra model. Available in two variants, as a four-door sedan or a two-door coupe, the car will benefit from a more powerful four-cylinder engine!

Kia Forte has seen a remarkable response from South Korean consumers since it went on sale in August. Already in it’s debuting month, with sales of 8,900 units, the Forte outsold Hyundai Elantra, which was the best-selling compact vehicle in South Korea for several years.

The new Kia compact car to hit Australia will not be the European built cee’d as some reports suggested, but the all-new Kia Forte sedan. Due for release in the Australian market in early 2009, the Forte will be rebadged to Cerato and will be offered with a fuel efficient 2,0L gasoline engine.

Dongfeng Yueda Kia to launch new Forte in 2009 Shanghai, September 1 (Gasgoo.com) Dongfeng Yueda Kia, a joint venture between Chinese automaker Dongfeng Group and Korean automaker Kia Motor, will start to make and sell the new Forte compact sedan in China next year, reported the Beijing News.

The Kia Forte is one of the best looking Korean cars to ever be unveiled and sports Kia’s new corporate nose (now also found on the Kia Optima facelift and soon the upcoming Sorento). The Forte was first unveiled as a concept 2-door coupe called the Kia Koup.
