evening! well, this is about it, folks. by this time next week we will be chillin on our veranda in new orleans. i only got a couple posts left for this week. i will probably close up shop for about 5 days come thursday, fyi. until tomorrow i am going to leave you with what is probably one of my favorite things i have posted here on captains dead.

The morning commute will not be the same beginning this mid-December as KFOG’s morning host Dave Morey is leaving the airwaves after 26 years at the station. Morey has spent about 39 years in radio. He was the first voice heard when KFOG 104.5 in San Francisco and now in the South Bay at 97.7 switched from “beautiful music” in 1982 to Album-Oriented Rock (now Adult Album Alternative).

Just a reminder to tune into KFOG 104.5 FM tomorrow (Oct. 16) at around 7:30 AM (PST). Zem will be revealing her tips for celebrating a green Halloween. Feel free to email us questions you’d like her to answer or, better yet, call in and chat live with Zem.
