Recently I wrote about backlinking with the comment luv plugin, and whether it was a viable tool to help a blog with page rank and traffic. To get the most out of a backlink it is important to link to the right blog with a strong search word/term as an anchor.

This is the third post in the ‘Blog Commentating Series‘ leading up to the release of the Blog Comment Blueprint. In my last post we talked about a very popular plug-in called Commentluv. Today we are going to look at its not so popular brother, Keywordluv.

I spent a lot of today emailing with another online marketer and he pointed me to a couple of wordpress plug-ins that I think are quite cool. First plug-in was a very powerful little widget which enabled me to list the Top 10 Commentators on my blog.

With more people comment on your blog, the more traffic you will get. Regular commentator will do good on your blog. To encourage comments, you must “give” something to your visitor in return. It is backlink. You can use plugin for your wordpress to encourage comments.

Thinking of a simple way to reward my commentators, I installed earlier two wordpress plugins that will serve as my simple way of saying thank you! NoFollow Free - This will strip the “no follow” attribute in the authors link within the comments in this blog, but it will only happen when the comment author reaches a minimum of 2 comments.

KeywordLuv is very useful plugin for your WordPress blog and for the longest time I have been using it to share link love to the commenters on my blog. I appreciate each and every one who took advantage of the feature and contributed to the content on my blog! And yes, valid comments I consider a valuable content and love rewarding people for it! Link love is one of the easiest ways to reward.

The coolest thing about blogging is the social interaction and community that is built when readers leave meaningful comments. But building an engaging community isn’t that easy.
