This keyboard sculpture looks somewhat like a blanket. It is made out of 22,528 recycled keys that spell out a line-by-line transcript of the emails sent back and forth between the artist, Jean Shin, and the fabricators. It is interactive and on display at the Permanent Collection of the Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia.

    http://culturedecoded.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 07/ 20/ no-more-mouse/

The computer mouse, loved by everyone from dad to your cat, is now supposed to be abolished in 3 to 5 years, predicts an analyst. He thinks the 40 year old device will be replaced by built in mousepads, touch screens, facial recognition software, and above all…guitar hero controllers.
