But early September, I guess they are mostly gone, or it was because the tide was coming in. We jumped one tarpon and everything else we caught was nurse sharks. Or maybe the same nurse shark over and over.

But it did exist at one time, and that Key West is captured perfectly in Tarpon, the fantastic documentary made by UYA Films in 1973.
