The 2008 BET Awards was televised live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles Tuesday evening. Comedian D.L. Hughley hosted the event. There were performances from artists such as Usher, Chris Brown, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, T Pain, Ludacris, Kanye West, and Lil’ Wayne just to name a few.

T-Pain's Song collaborations have paid off. This year the rapper turned singer tops the BET Awards list with 5 nominations. He received nominations for best collaboration for his work with Chris Brown: "Kiss Kiss", Kanye West: Good Life and Flo Rida: "Low." He was also nominated twice in the video of the year category.
