Well the close of the season has happened and while I’m happy about it, I’m also a little sad to see Fulmer go. I can honestly say that it has been awhile since I was as proud of a Tennessee football team as I was during the second half of the past game.

The #22 Miami Hurricanes face-off against the Ohio State Buckeyes on Tuesday in a A.C.C./Big Ten Challenge match-up. The Hurricanes are 4-1 and coming off two straight wins, and Ohio State is undefeated at 3-0. The Canes are led by senior captain Jack McClinton and junior big man Dwayne Collins.

Yes folks I decided to take some time away from writing and enjoy the Thanksgiving weekend, I hope you had a pleasant and happy Thanksgiving. I dub yesterday as disappointment day with the exception of Tennessee. Kentucky fans can thank Jodie Meeks for avoiding a potential Wildcat football/basketball game issue for tonight. Thanks to Kentucky's 74-72 win over Kansas State in the semifinals of the Las Vegas Invitational that stretched into the early morning hours, their championship game with West Virginia will not overlap with Kentucky's football game with Tennessee.

This weekend marks the final game for Phillip Fulmer as the head coach of the Tennessee Football squad.  After 17 years, it all comes down to this, and one last game against the Kentucky Wildcats.  Hopefully, the Vols will send the Great Punkin off in style with a big win—keeping the Vols streak against the Wildcats alive.
