    VEGAS PART II

    http://ukwildcatcountry.com/ 2008/ 12/ vegas-part-ii/

Looking back, there’s a lot more that needs to be said about Vegas. My excitement is at such a high that I might rehash some points from yesterday’s column, so don’t hold that against me. According to Ken Pomeroy and his magical computer, Kentucky has the #11 defense in Division I.

    KENTUCKY FOOTBALL NEWS - 12/1/08

    http://mrsec.com/ story/ kentucky-football-news-12108

Oh, no.  No.  Please.  Not that. Yep, after their 24th consecutive loss to Tennessee on Saturday night, it looks like Kentucky might be heading to their third straight Music City Bowl in Nashville.  Nothing against Nashville which is a fun city, but Cat fans have to be wanting something else.

Fast food is something that’s very appealing to most Americans. Although some people do enjoy cooking, it’s often seen as a hassle to make your own food. So what are the major fast food chains around the world? Well, the biggest one without a doubt is McDonald’s.

    Lexington Author in Smithsonian Magazine

    http://pageonekentucky.com/ 2008/ 12/ 01/ lexington-author-in-smithsonian-magazi…

Lexington author Kim Edwards has a feature about Lexington in this month’s issue of Smithsonian. She’s a New Yorker transplanted in Kentucky and seems to love everything Kentuckians love about the Bluegrass. Despite her use of Mammoth “Caves” instead of “Cave,” (sorry, we couldn’t resist) it’s still a great read.

    Welcome back...

    http://overthepylon.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 12/ welcome-back.html

Well, well, well. It's MAC Championship Week and finally, mercifully, thankfully, Ball State will be making an appearance in the big game on Friday at Ford Field. They'll play the Buffalo Bulls, a 7-5 team whose record doesn't indicate remotely the quality of their team.

The Tennessee/Kentucky Grade Book: Fulmer Goes Out a Winner

    http://ymswwc.com/ 2008/ 12/ 01/ the-tennesseekentucky-grade-book-fulmer-goes-ou…

Well the close of the season has happened and while I’m happy about it, I’m also a little sad to see Fulmer go. I can honestly say that it has been awhile since I was as proud of a Tennessee football team as I was during the second half of the past game.
