Not only has the U.S. supply of Volkswagen Jetta Diesels already sold out for 2008, but Volkswagen Group of America CEO Stefan Jacoby is increasing his sales predictions for the future. The 50-state-legal clean diesels went on sale in the U.S. in August.

New pictures of the 2010 Jetta has surfaced, and at first, its looks no different. To a casual eye it may look exactly the same as the existing model. But, if you concentrate very hard(till it hurts!) and keep staring at the pictures, boy can you spot the differences! Quite seriously, this is the laziest face-lift we have ever seen (with the exception of Porsche though).

Big conrgats goes out to Mark Pombo! Superb driving and man was he pushing it through turns 10A/10B. We finally had the chance to meet Mark, just before qualifying. Great guy but he must have slammed a few of the gazilion Red Bulls at the Volkswagen pavilion.

Yesterday I was faced with a choice of taking our Subaru Impreza or our 2005 Volkswagen Jetta. Considering that I had to drive through rush-hour traffic to get crosstown to Hollywood I wasn't too thrilled with the idea of driving stick, regardless of the car.
