Well, I made it back to Canada. I had a good flight the only issue I had was the horribly long wait I had in Vancouver before getting me back to Ontario. But that’s all said and done now I just have to get over this jet leg that I have. I was out like a light before 4:30pm yesterday and up twelve hours later.

All That Is Gold By J.R.R.Tolkien

    http://zeitgeist.the-world-in-focus.com/ ?p=532

All That is Gold ~~~~~~~ All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost; The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost. From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring; Renewed shall be blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king.

Picture me surprised. The post here at A Christian Worldview of Fiction that gets the most hits—a steady number each week—is Myths and Legends, Fairy Tales and Fables … Oh, My. When I first notice that post was receiving traffic, often from search words, I reread it to see what profundity had captured the minds of blog searchers near and far.

    The Alphabet Meme

    http://superfastreader.com/ the-alphabet-meme.htm

Picked this meme up from Melanie, in honor of two YA books I read for work this weekend. The goal of this is to list favourite authors according to last name (with a representative fave book as well).

We must walk open-eyed into that trap, with courage, but small hope for ourselves. -J. R. R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings, (Houghton Mifflin: 1994), 862
