Internal Bleeding
http://randomtruth.net/ blog/ ?p=697Internal Bleeding Filed Under (Friends, introspection) by Daemon >furniture Elhovoached my saturation point during a birthday party for a friend. We, meaning some friends of mine, had been invited two weeks ago, and only planned to join the party for maybe an hour, two at most. I was too tired

So.
http://angry-biscuit.livejournal.com/ 1069230.htmlTonight is my sister's anniversary party at a place in downtown next to Damien's office. I love her dearly, she's never once been judgmental or even critical of me, not once. Whenever I see her, it's always just a happy thing. I threw my back out yesterday and am in a great deal of pain, but I'm determined to be there - my last Vicodin willing.

a moral quandary
http://kellypuffs.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 05/ a-moral-quandary/I’m pretty clear on most things, thanks to a good Catholic upbringing. I can feel guilty about ANYTHING… and usually do. I also am pretty good at “doing the right thing”. I am unfailingly polite and respectful, even to mean people. If given too much change or charged the wrong price at a store, I will correct them.

All Around Me
http://www.in-effigie.com/ ?p=349Oh, you guys… I’ll be 26 in almost exactly a month! We (me, my sister, and my mom) were talking about this earlier tonight, and I’d determined that I’m not one of those people who frets with each passing year. While it’s nearly unbelievable that I’ll be 30 in a short four years, I don’t feel it’s something to view negatively.

The Joy of Linux
http://yorkshire-ranter.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ joy-of-linux.htmlSo I actually bought a printer; in fact, a printer/scanner. And I considered buying two pairs of jeans after showing up at the count with interesting new holes. Am I descending into bovine consumerism? And the obvious next step was to qualify it with the Linux Lappeh.

Life's Mathematics
http://nirmala-km.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ lifes-mathematics.htmlA little bit of introspection led me to this conclusion. What we are in life is perhaps largely a function of the following. (Pay attention to the mathematical symbols as well) (Our natural talents * how effectively we discover and use it) + (How we use our intrinsic intelligence to evaluate what

Bruce Returns
http://www.heathervescent.com/ heathervescent/ 2008/ 05/ bruce-returns.htmlSeveral years ago I went though several months of reading most of Bruce Chatwin's work. He is one of my favorite authors along with Italio Calvino and Jonathan Carroll. At that time I collected and read most of his books - but not all. A collection of short stories stared it's title at me most mornings.

a crazy thought // the end of an era
http://www.heathervescent.com/ heathervescent/ 2008/ 05/ a-crazy-thought.htmlI had an unusual sense of relaxation and contentment yesterday. Even as I drove through traffic and had difficult discussions - I felt - content. Satisfied. I looked down at the floor of my metaphorical stage and saw the bucket of balls I usually juggle. They beckoned to me to pick them up and show off - if only to myself.

You've got mail!...maybe
http://newkidonthehallway.typepad.com/ new_kid_on_the_hallway/ 2008/ 05/ youve-g…When you were younger, did you get all excited for the mail? I totally used to look forward to checking the mailbox, because anything that arrived for me was pretty much going to be cool - an actual letter or card of some kind, or maybe a package - fun stuff.
