    http://witchdoctor.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 22/ doctors-are-too-damned-powerful/…

There is still some debate over The Junior Doctor at the focus of the Paice, Black, Needham gossip case. Is he still suspended or is he not? Here is The Oldest Sage Witch’s opinion, for what it is worth: The problem is that regardless of the rights or wrongs of what this doctor may have said

    http://witchdoctor.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 20/ polyclinics-phase-2-of-the-campa…

” The GPC will aim to get polyclinics blocked by local government in the next phase of its campaign to support general practice. Following the 1.2 million-signature petition supporting existing surgeries, a follow-up campaign aiming to keep the momentum is set to be launched in the next few

    Fumbling with little hats………

    http://witchdoctor.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 18/ fumbling-with-little-hats/

Glory be, they are all rising like phoenixes! (Except Dr Crippen. What’s happened to Crippen anyway? He vanished last year and caused quite a stir! A break he calls it. A break! Only MP’s have a break like this! Is he locked up in The Tower? ) Anyway, the rest are all back blogging! Some have never left, of course, except to put up the “GONE FISHING” notice when they need a holiday.

    Split-screen coverage?

    http://lordsoftheblog.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 14/ split-screen-coverage/

On the Parliament Channel, coverage of the House of Commons takes precedence over the House of Lords.  I understand why the Commons takes precedence, but a friend, Ken Batty, has raised with me the question of why there needs to be a hierarchy.  Why cannot coverage be split-screen, enabling viewers

    A UK Bill of Rights?

    http://willrhodesportmanteau.com/ 2008/ 08/ 11/ a-uk-bill-of-rights/

Now let me think about that one. A cross party committee in the House of Commons states that the UK should have a Bill of Rights - but as with everything else the political wrangling will slow any legislation down. You can ask why. It is a matter that, even though it was a cross party [...]

    http://www.scholarsandrogues.com/ 2008/ 08/ 06/ the-scrogues-guide-platte-river/…

by Janet Manley Though Denver began as a strip of saloons and brothels blown together on the Platte River, today the area has achieved the atmosphere of a whimsical English seaside town, with an accompanying innocence and frivolity.

    Spot on!

    http://witchdoctor.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 06/ spot-on/

A week with the wind and the rain in his hair has refreshed The Jobbing Doctor. He’s back! With thoughts of Orwell, he’s back! MISSION PARTIALLY ACCOMPLISHED But the mission so far, is only partially accomplished. Will it be fully accomplished? That is up to patients and doctors.

    So????

    http://witchdoctor.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 04/ so/

FRAMEWORK FOR INTEGRATED CARE PILOTS Forgive me. I’m sure it is due to the weakness of an aging witches brain, but I cannot find any meat to chew over in this statement by The NHS Alliance. Or, in The Darzi Report either, for that matter. Perhaps the younger witches will be able to forage away till they find something I’m missing.
