Metal Sucks is reporting that Nachtmystium have been forced to drop off the Opeth tour due to "issues beyond control." We recently discussed this tour's stop in NYC, and can say with certainty that Nachtmystium will be sorely missed for the rest of this leg.

Baroness Savannah’s bleak and blackened metal outfit Baroness launches a full-on assault of North America this week. The group is now on the road playing select dates with Opeth, High on Fire, Genghis Tron, Coliseum and Minsk.

Even the best package tours usually have at least one weak spot, band-wise; but the Opeth/High on Fire/Nachtmystium tour, which Vince and I got to check out last week, is pretty much perfect from start to finish. And one of the reasons is - or guess now I should say “was” - the presence of Nachtmystium.
