Baseball’s All-Star game is tonight meaning there is no more appropriate time to recognize those players who have done the most for their fantasy owners over the course of the first half of the season. Here is a position-by-position look at the top fantasy players from each league so far.

So we decided to make the best starters, and put the best backup players behind them. So basically, the best realistic team of 2008. For the backup and utility players, they have to be actual backups or platooners, like Augie Ojeda, or Ruben Gotay for example. No video game rosters here.

Breaking Down the All-Star Selections Jul.06, 2008 in MLB Leave a Comment Earlier today, Major League Baseball announced the rosters for the 79th All-Star Game being held at Yankee Stadium, which is only appropriate since this is the final season for the historic ballpark.

Baseball has some of the most passionate and knowledgeable fans in all of sports, but for some reason, when the fans have the chance to select the starters for the mid-summer classic, they have the tendency to pick with their hearts instead of their brains.

The sun has decided to visit the Pacific Northwest. As we finally get to experience summer, I am stuck around the house, unable to really be very useful with my ankle in a walking boot. Makes it tough to actually go out and enjoy it. I turn my attention to you, the readers.
