    Hard Disk Drive Drum

    http://hackedgadgets.com/ 2008/ 05/ 16/ hard-disk-drive-drum/

Fibra from Belgrade has created an interesting drum system. It uses old hard drive read/write arms as drum hammers. The original hard drive voice coils are used to move the arms. The picture above is the new system which doesn’t seem to be documented yet, have a look at the video for a demonstration of the first version.

    http://www.stubbleblog.com/ index.php/ 2008/ 05/ two-good-things/

For the past year or so, Sarah and I have ended each day by telling each other two good things. For the bulk of the year, our format was for the two things to be things that happened during the day that had made us happy such as closing a deal, getting a compliment, or hearing a great joke.

The Difference Between Diplomacy And Appeasement

    http://donklephant.com/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ the-difference-between-diplomacy-and-appea…

Bush apparently doesn’t know. Neither does Lieberman. And tonight Chris Matthews ran into one of these well studied right-wing radio hosts and asked him if he knew the difference. Watch the results… Moving on…
