So the race was on Saturday. My friend Shannon and I woke up DARK and EARLY Saturday morning, at 3:45 a.m. to drive to Providence, Utah where the race ended. We got on the bus at about 6:15 a.m. after we found mrs. r at the last second! YAY.

I remember the first ROCKY movie and how so many of us were madly in love with Sylvester Stallone. There was something so earthy, endearing and sexy about him. And all those muscles!! Definitely an Italian Stallion. The first ROCKY movie was the stuff of which legends are made in the movie industry.

I've been enjoying the Olympics... commercials. Especially the Visa ones ("Go World") narrated by Morgan Freeman. As I was commenting on how well his voice fits to narrate over Michael Phelps' slo-mo swimming, much like Patrick Dempsey's for State Farm Insurance or Jeff Bridges for Duracell, my husband replied, simply, that "Morgan Freeman is the voice of God." As in what? I asked.
