“We can’t have acquittals. We’ve got to have convictions.” Filed under Corruption in Govt, Human Rights, government, politics I have shuddered at the thought that most, if not all, of the individuals to be tried in BushCo’s kangaroo court known as the military tribunals would be found guilty.

    Weekend movie tips

    http://movingpictureblog.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ weekend-movie-tips.html

If you're not of a mind to see movies about talking lions and CGI race cars this weekend, let me suggest some worthy alternatives: Son of Rambow, How the Garcia Girls Spent Their Summer, Then She Found Me, Forgetting Sarah Marshall -- and, yes, Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.

    Our Brave New World x3

    http://narciblog.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ our-brave-new-world-x3.html

The things that are happening around us, in our names, are just becoming too numerous to even pay attention to. So here are just three things I think are important enough you should pay attention to: 1) On being ashamed of one's country at Balkanization: An innocent Italian man is disappeared into our new immigration obliettes.

I have shuddered at the thought that most, if not all, of the individuals to be tried in BushCo’s kangaroo court known as the military tribunals would be found guilty. That they would be found guilty on shoddy or non-existing evidence coerced out of them by torture and certainly without any decent representation.

Well, it seems I have somewhat of a friend in the Privy Council Office (see below). Hope you enjoyed the post this morning, pal, you guys might want to get on that $20 billion oversight in the military budget. Or perhaps you should pick up where the previous government left off and get things right with Omar Khadr.
