The Federal government of the United States has put into place a federal income tax credit of up to $3,400 for hybrid cars that have been purchased or placed into service after December 31, 2005. The amounts of credits start to phase out for a manufacturer’s vehicle when it has sold over 60,000 eligible vehicles.

Don’t throw away those old candle containers. Recycle them. Lots of people assume that recycling is the process of taking garbage to a recycling plant, a process that can be too embarrassing and troublesome for many people.
