From Clean Technica: Google.org announced yesterday that it is investing $10.25 million in an energy technology called Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS). The funding will also go towards geothermal resource mapping, information tools, and a geothermal energy policy agenda.

We all need to pay more attention to whether we recycle all our plastic bottles and other recyclable materials. Most streets do not have recycling containers on them. When you buy a bottle of water as you are leaving the gym, soda with lunch or even just a drink because you are thirsty if there is not a recycling container around you take it with you.

Once they were the pioneers, and beneficaries of the ‘green revolution’, now a group of farmers in Punjab want to reclaim their land through natural farming methods. In Slate, Mira Kamdar files her despatch.
