Snap Beans, Dragon Langerie

Just take a look at some that I harvested today…intermingling with purple snap beans. You know I love the veggies that are a little odd…purple is one of my favorite colors! Can’t wait to see the purple brussel sprouts this fall… Anyhoo, The Dragon Tongue bean is of the snap variety.

Oh boy was it work! I think the hardest part was removing the skin, which, while made easier by blanching the peaches, still took the bulk of our time and energy.
