First it was baklava, then dolma, helva, doner, yogurt, and feta, and now it's Karagoz? Here we go again! Another identity theft of cultural proportions. It turns out the Greeks are now claiming puppets Karagoz and Hacivat, the Ottoman equivalent of Punch and Judy, as one of their own.

We love Greek yogurt here at Chew on That. There’s something about that creamy, thick yogurt that we just can’t resist. Have I mentioned how great it is? Well, Recipe4Living was lucky enough to score some free coupon to try out one of the Greek yogurt brands on the market: Oikos Organic Greek Yogurt made by Stonyfield Farms.

We love yogurt at our house.  The calcium of course is great for building bones.  The good bacteria helps to fight H.Pylori (a very common bacteria that creates ulcers).  They also say it helps to fight the bacteria that causes bad breath. So when Kristi asked if I had posted about Greek yogurt yet, I knew I needed to try it.

OK I’m not being serious, this is not only just for Shut Ins although sometimes during the cold of Winter, I definitely feel as though I qualify. I am not sure why there is such a stigma to hibernation, the bears do it and you hardly hear cries of “anti social bears” and mutterings that there’s something wrong with them.

If we did we’d probably get a lot more hits from Tastespotting and Foodgawker, since they only seem to post chocolate flavored desserts topped liberally with powdered sugar and sprigs of mint.
