Kinoma Play gets its first software update

    It’s the news that contract-phobes like myself have been waiting for, the price of the iPhone 3G on a pay and go credit plan. While I hate commitment and therefore generally steer clear of any sort of contract that binds me to a constant depletion of my bank account, I may be rethinking my stance after seeing what the phone outlay will cost.

    O2 has announced it will sell the iPhone 3G with a pay-as-you-go option starting with September 16th. Curious about prices? The 8GB version will sell for £350 or about $700 and the 16GB version will sell for £400 or about $800.

I feel that I have to warn you though - it aint cheap! £349 for the 8GB version and £399 for the 16GB - GULP! Your cash will get you unlimited browsing and WiFi for the first 12 months, after which it’ll be £10 a month.
