My Saturdays are usually planned with one or two highlights like maybe a movie, clubbing, an ad-hoc trip somewhere or maybe a dinner with friends. So, KuKuNehNeh and I were quite worried when we had 3 events lined up for last Saturday. First up was an ROM ceremony for KuKuNehNeh’s cousin at Swissotel Merchant Court.

Hugs and Kisses for all my friends from Class Of 2008 !!! ; ) Besides being heavily committed to my studies and graduation committee planning in TTC ( Trinity Theological College ) since July 2007, I also spent some time making friends on Facebook.

The attendee list on the Facebook Event page for Social Media Breakfast: Singapore 2 has been at 40 people for a couple of days now, about 60% were present at the first one. This is good in the sense that we’ll be familiar with each other and really move the conversation forward and talk about the crazy issues that plague all of us who’re trying to figure out the space.

Today, I created a Facebook group called Crafty Foxes of Singapore. I have been trying to look for an online group gathering crafting-DIYing Singaporeans but have failed to find one. I refuse to believe that Singaporeans are a busy busy bunch with no time for craft and DIY projects.

We have a pretty lively SMU community on Twitter with @studio_bug and @iammyy joining us just this week. In a way it’s this awesome community that led me to the revelation of why Twitter is so powerful. In short: It’s like mIRC in that you can talk to anyone and leave messages for anyone and usually do these with multiple people at once.

WILL SOCIAL MEDIA ACTIVISTS CHANGE the face of politics in Singapore in one or two years’ time? Will the US Elections voting patterns correlate closely with the subscription, viewership and interaction patterns on YouChoose 08 (on YouTube) and other social media such as Facebook?
