ron paul - the real winner of the gop primary
http://orgtheory.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 13/ ron-paul-the-real-winner-of-the-go…Paul supporters recently caused a disturbance at the 2008 Nevada Republican Convention. Long shot presidential candidates are usually vanity candidates. But once in a while you get someone who wants to make a point and really doesn’t care if they win.

We’re all going on a European tour……
http://hartypar.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 12/ were-all-going-on-a-european-tour/Newcastle United are becoming one of my favourite teams in the Premier League. Yesterday, Everton defeated the Geordies 3-1 to claim 5th spot and a UEFA Cup place, while in 2005 a 2-0 victory over the same opposition, at home, on the final day secured 4th spot and a shot at the Champions League.

http://thegroundsman.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 12/ capello-names-england-squad-fo…Joe Hart, Stephen Warnock, and Phil Jagielka are the interesting inclusions this time around. We’ll see if Owen is actually used for any amount of time during the May 28th match at Wembley against Team USA. EDIT: Apologies if the squad seemed a tad small this morning when I posted this, but part of the blog entry got cut off! Yes, Steven Gerrard was named as part of the squad.

England should probably start looking for a new manager
http://unprofessionalfoul.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ england-should-probably-start-…Ever since Fabio Capello took over the England job, there have been rumo(u)rs that he had some outstanding legal problems. Now, it seems that those problems are catching up to him. Further, said problems might land him in jail for up to six years.

skeptical towards the GED
http://orgtheory.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 12/ skeptical-towards-the-ged/Via Greg Mankiw, Heckman and Fontaine summarize research on the GED in this report. The findings shed a negative light on the GED. It’s probably one of the most important reports in a while on high school graduation and college entrance. In this post, “high school completion” means you got your diploma at the end of high school.

Fabio names final squad of the season
http://www.twofootedtackle.com/ 2008/ 05/ fabio-names-final-squad-of-season.htmlLet's face it, you can read about the Premier League on any football blog in the blogosphere right now. There's nothing I can add, except to say that my trip to Upton Park today was massively enjoyable, and Olof Mellberg is a Villa legend. Manchester United held their nerve and pipped Chelsea to the Premier League title.
