On Church Leadership by Mark Driscoll (Book Review)

Finding Simplicity
http://www.blogher.com/ finding-simplicityIn a western commercialized society, is there any part of the spiritual path that is more difficult to practice than simplicity? The noisy-ness of our world can make it incredibly difficult to find a place where you can live with less, quite your monkey mind, and leave a smaller footprint on our good, earthy Mother.

A Few Pictures from That Trip to England
http://cabdrollery.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ few-pictures-from-that-trip-to-englan…What stones? Stonehenge and Me. Oh, and the architects had just found a plaque left by Robert Newell, a prominent archeologist who did a lot of studying Stonehenge, and a fellow less know, named Young (hmmmmm) - that left a bunch of unearthed bones found in the 56 Aubrey holes that seem to be

Get Offa My Lawn!
http://cabdrollery.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ get-offa-my-lawn.htmlHere's an article from today's NY Times that could have been very helpful. Youth Part First Night
http://futuremajority.com/ node/ 2477Really great retell of a situation Jackie Borchardt from Politics West recalls of her first evening of DNC08 ""We need more young people like you," a California delegate said to me while I slurped a lemonade outside the convention hall. I set the record straight: I'm not here for Democratic Party business.

Acts 2:17-21 - When Will God Pour Out His Spirit On All Flesh?
http://discerningtheworld.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 25/ acts-217-21-when-will-god…25 August, 2008 — Deborah I am posting this article because this bit of scripture in Acts 2 v 17-19 is being used to back up the ‘revivals’ that are blowing across the earth today with accompanying signs and wonders. Like most scripture used by the New Apostles and Prophets and their friends, it’s out of context, and they attribute prophecy and promises meant for Israel to the church and so on.
