TWAS A DREAM I HAD
http://twist-o-lemon.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 09/ twas-dream-i-had.htmlHad a disturbing dream the other day. I was in some sort of preplanning teacher meeting, sitting at a big, round table in some gigantic room. There seemed to be a few hundred other folken in the room similarly seated around, and the general mood of the place was tense. In a few moments, I found out why.

Can a nation share bad karma?
http://onecity.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 15/ can-a-nation-share-bad-karma/Reading international news these days can make anyone anxious or upset: a war in Iraq that’s dragging on for years, a new war between Russia and Georgia that could get even worse, a war in Afghanistan no one’s talking about, hunger in Darfur… even the Olympic games, which should be happy, bring to light an oppressive regime.

I know you look forward to certain items in my Blog, and I just haven't been doing anything at

Pausch had such an optimistic view on life, even in the face of death. One part of his book really resonated with me. He tells the reader to figure out if you are a Tigger or an Eeyore.

http://www.overthinkingit.com/ 2008/ 07/ 07/ the-top-five-depressed-characters-l…Jean-Paul Sartre once said “Hell is other people,” but his characters were just stuck in a plain old room with some other folks and no exit. Eeyore’s Birthday Party in Austin Texas
http://articles.intl.in/ eeyores-birthday-party-in-austin-texas/One of the most quintessentially “weird” Austin festivals, Eeyore’s Birthday party was first held in 1963, and hasn’t missed a year since. A costume party, festival, fund-raiser and all around good time, this annual event is marked by games and contests, and lots of drumming.

CARDBOARD BOXES
http://twist-o-lemon.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 07/ cardboard-boxes.htmlCARDBOARD BOXES by Loudon Wainwright III No, it's actually not ME who's doing the moving, it's my S-2B-X, her flatmate and my youngest children who are moving this day. Out of a very expensive, much-2-large house in Orlando to someplace else, I actually don't know the details other than that I'm sure it's a hell of a lot less expensive.
