    More on EAA 2008

    http://asianbadger.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 08/ 01/ more-on-eaa-2008/

Lots and lots of airplanes at the EAA. Of course, that’s why it’s the EAA. In my previous post, I mentioned the F-22 Raptors. You can see a video of their arrival, here. I don’t know where the guy was standing, but it wasn’t too far from where Dad29 and I were standing. This was the second pass before touchdown.

Say this like Vinny Barbarino.. “It’s like…. so weird”

Keeping in mind that I am completely jealous of the man for owning 5 planes, having TWO jet-bridges attached to his house, one for his own personal 707… I just want you to remember this the next time John Travolta tells us we all need to “do our part” in dealing with global warming.

Made the annual pilgramage to the EAA today. The highlight was seeing the F-22 Raptors come in. They put on a little show before touchdown including a flyby at about Mach .95 at 10 feet off the runway. Whoa. More later. Me in Front of Mooney Model AB1
