Senate Guts Bill to Regulate Industry Gifts to Doctors
http://www.happygifts.us/ baby-gifts/ senate-guts-bill-to-regulate-industry-gift…The bill would require drug and device makers to submit an annual report to the federal government, which would post it on the Internet. Extravagant gifts given to doctors by industry, such as golf vacations and expensive dinners, have long been criticized as influencing doctors’ prescribing habits.

Why do newspapers "endorse" candidates?
http://bill-ksfr.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 02/ why-do-newspapers-endorse-candidates.ht…Somewhere in the back of my mind, I've probably wondered this, too.
