Retro-Smoke: The Griffin's Special Edition XX

    http://cigaradvisor.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 04/ retro-smoke-griffins-special-edition…

Today's cigar review is truly a retro-smoke. Yesterday I had the day off, and it was a perfectly gorgeous day; sunshine and temps in the mid-70's. What to smoke? I reached into my humidor and came up with a Griffin's Special Edition XX. We're talking vintage 2004 here - the very first edition of The Griffin's Anniversary cigars.

    Breve

    http://www.velvetcigar.net/ ?p=265

Breve April 20th, 2008 by Ironmeden There was a front page article in the St.Paul Pioneer Press this weekend which went over how one of the local cigar shoppes is trying to the get around the Nazi style smoking ban here in the cities. I have been to the Lilydale Social Club many times and really enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the guys that hang out there.

    E. Zarzuela Toro Fuerte

    http://cigarfan.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 02/ 18/ e-zarzuela-toro-fuerte/

First introduced in 2005, E. Zarzuela is a relative newcomer to the world of “boutique” cigars. This particular line is sometimes called the “Premium” line to distinguish it from Zarzuela’s milder-bodied “EZ” series released in 2006. Both are made in the Dominican Republic.

    Augusto Reyes Nativo Corona

    http://cigarfan.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 01/ 19/ augusto-reyes-nativo-corona/

Unlike many of the big names in the Dominican and Central American cigar industry, this one has no Cuban ancestry. The Augusto Reyes family has roots in the Dominican Republic and the Dominican tobacco world going back 150 years and six generations, though much of that time has been in the agricultural and leaf brokerage side of the business rather than in cigar manufacturing.
