    http://www.twoinstitutions.org/ ?p=365

Is student ministry relevant to the overall health of a church? Does youth ministry really matter in terms of the kingdom? Do head pastors take student ministry seriously? Well, our head pastor answered all of these questions with a resounding Yes, and I for one respect him all the more for it.

    Enough is Enough

    http://voiceofvision.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 08/ enough-is-enough.html

that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work. The Problem of Theology

    http://jonathanbrink.com/ 2008/ 08/ 28/ the-problem-of-theology/

I’ve always wondered why the church doesn’t teach the priesthood of all believers. (1 Peter 2:9)  And then I saw this cartoon. (ht) It says so much in four little panels.  And it begs the question inherent in theology that we get it wrong sometimes, which has a label called heresy.  Heresy is big for some people.  But is heresy really the problem?

Thoughts on Family Focused Faith (Part 2)

    http://www.sbcimpact.net/ 2008/ 08/ 28/ thoughts-on-family-focused-faith-part-2/…

This is the continuation of a series of posts on family focused faith, where I’m taking quotes from Voddie Baucham Jr.’s book, “Family Driven Faith”, and sharing some thoughts and questions to foster discussion on the topic. In the process, I’m hoping to further refine my own thoughts as I work toward developing a discipleship program centered around family.
