Warner Bros. has released five new TV spots for the big screen version of “Get Smart“. The film stars Steve Carell, Anne Hathaway, Dwayne Johnson, Alan Arkin, Terence Stamp, Terry Crews, David Koechner, James Caan, Masi Oka, Nate Torrence and Kenneth Davitian.

After a whole string of comments on the April/May upcoming movies post referencing movies for latter dates, I figured I would go ahead and put up the June/July movies list. The movies I list here are NOT the ONLY ones coming out in June and July; they are just the ones that could be (My maybes) or will be (My MUST sees) seen in the theater (By me).

Summary: Ron Burgundy (Ferrell) is the top-rated anchorman in San Diego in the ’70s. When feminism marches into the newsroom in the form of ambitious newswoman Veronica Corningstone (Applegate), Ron is willing to play along at first-as long as Veronica stays in her place, covering cat fashion shows, cooking, and other “female” interests.

Really -- is there any reason, whatsoever, for him to co-star in Blonde Ambition? He's lucky that he's so good in the good stuff, and hopefully his next project will be just that.

Directed by Kent Alterman in his directorial debut, Semi-Pro lacks the humour and punch of many of Ferrell’s other comedies. It also lacks the energy of Blades of Glory or Talladega Nights, instead focusing on being an homage of the style of the 1970s and of the American Basketball Association.
