Who is John Yoo?
http://www.muditajournal.com/ archives/ 532.phpIn the article “Is John Yoo a Monster?” Esquire magazine provides a lovely, intimate look at the man who had the biggest role in shaping the Bush administration’s policies on torture. What I like best about the article is that I must use the words “lovely, intimate look” and “policies on torture” in the same sentence while describing it.

Prez Campaign Rag
http://limslimericks.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ prez-campaign-rag.htmlPhoto is of Wiley all stretched out and bored with politics--plus, it's been since April 18 that I typed out silly rhymery here at Lim's Limericks, but not from lack of trying--tech gremlins have been at play here on Turtle Lane more often than is seemly to cat or man.

You can't have your cake...
http://www.evangelicaloutpost.com/ intellectuelle/ archives/ 004411.htmlI've been thinking lately about the fact that, in the end, nothing that works against God's moral laws/natural law/C. S. Dear GOP
http://www.republicoft.com/ 2008/ 05/ 21/ dear-gop/I probably shouldn’t be giving you advice, but maybe because I’m a progressive, I can’t see someone in crisis without having a desire to help if I can. Besides, a couple of you guys have offered advice and suggestions to one Democratic candidate — not to mention asking questions I assume were designed to be helpful.

Kristi Yamaguchi wins “Dancing With the Stars”
http://www.8asians.com/ 2008/ 05/ 21/ kristi-yamaguchi-wins-dancing-with-the-sta…As I had mentioned before, I don’t really watch “Dancing with the Stars,” but did know the finals were last night. Well, as I had thought from the beginning, Kristi Yamaguchi wins the competition, as reported in The San Jose Mercury News article, “Local hero Kristi Yamaguchi emerges as ‘Dancing’

Unscripted...
http://pekebende.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ unscripted.html...Events. A year ago, a World Congress in IT (WCiT) would mean mad redo1 would be going as a participant. Pushing forward a year, mad redo1 was at the WCiT 2008 in a completely different role. This time around saw him returning to one of the things that he really likes doing, that is to be involved in a production of a theater/play/musical.
