http://seedsofgrowth.com/ have-a-cool-setup-in-your-home-based-biz-share-it-with…BusinessWeek Online was kind enough to ask me to share the following project with my blog readers, knowing that many of you work from home offices. They want to create a photo essay of readers' standout home-based offices. What exactly qualifies as "standout?": " We are looking for unique spaces from which you run your home-basedbusiness today.

Sweet Smells and Container Gardens
http://hiddenmahala.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ sweet-smells-and-container-gardens.h…I went out at lunch and I discovered something amazing. I know how heaven smells now. It's a delicate mixture of honeysuckle, wild Cherokee roses and the aroma you get when a cool, early spring day is covered with a light blanket of mist. You can't get that in a bottle ya'll.

The 5-second rule doesn't exist around here
http://number1happyst.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ 5-second-rule-doesnt-exist-around-…I've been working in my building a long time now. I've seen the neighborhood change (not true), I've seen hundreds of people come and go (probably true), and I've been here through 5 different presidential terms (not even close). But one thing that has remained constant is the building's carpeting (definitely).

http://number1happyst.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ i-ordered-coffee-not-cough-ee-and-…There's a guy at the other end of my floor who does that throat-clearing thing after every time he coughs. Do you know the one I'm talking about? When you were a kid, your dad probably did it every morning. My next-door-neighbor still does it every once in a while as he walks to his car in the driveway right by my bedroom window before he leaves for work.

Ignorance is Bliss
http://cubelodyte.com/ 2008/ 05/ 15/ ignorance-is-bliss/Ignorance is Bliss Filed under (Cubicle & Campus, Random Mutations) by The Cubelodyte on Thursday @ 01:23 pm I just saw a fellow in the hallway with shaved legs. I probably wouldn’t have noticed if they’d been completely hairless—but this guy was fairly dark-haired, and depilated only up to the middle of his calf.

http://valleywag.com/ 390891/ facebook-vs-collegehumor-beer-pong-canceledThe smack-talk inspiring contest of beer pong — known as beiruit in some quarters — scheduled between Facebook and IAC subsidiary CollegeHumor is off. Why? Because Facebook's PR and legal departments said so, CollegeHumor cofounder Ricky Van Veen told our tipster: Facebook's PR and Legal dept said they can't participate.

Updates on work
http://conscientiousconfusion.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 05/ updates-on-work.htmlSo, the last few weeks I've been trying out the West Coast shift at work, which is 11 AM - 8 PM. I like it because I get to do things like grocery shopping and errands that I would previously have done in the evening after work, very early in the morning instead. I get to avoid all the traffic and crowds, which is great.
