  I received an e-mail this week from an AC community member asking about how to deal with a negative environment in the workplace. This seems to be emerging as a top concern for creative pros as expectations continue to rise with increasing  emphasis on getting more done with fewer resources.

I spent three early mornings last week capturing three times, in its entirety (a full 43 minutes) CARPs inventive and emotionally driven version of Pink Floyd’s 1980’s album, The Wall. It was a truly international group that spent many hours developing and performing a Virtual Show to music that reaches a new audience every few years.

Wanna Produce Animated Film? Join hands with Intel. The chipmaker has announced a community-driven computer animation project, dubbed ‘The Future of Creative Collaboration’. And Facebook is offering a platform to enable artist collaboration for producing the animated short film for theatrical release.

Erlangen International AudioLabs: Cutting-Edge Research in Germany www.iis.fraunhofer.de - The Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and Friedrich-Alexander- University Erlangen-Nuernberg have opened the Erlangen International AudioLabs. The center will employ an international team of scientists working on audio and multimedia technologies over the next ten years.
