inaccurate everest/speedfan temps

so i was running prime95 for about 3 hours and keeping an eye on my temps. i had everest, speedfan for my fan control and coretemp open just to check against everything. everything looked good and then i noticed something. speedfan had my nb at 99c which i normally ignore because its always sitting at -17c.

Weird or normal temps after OC ?

Hey guys.. I OC'ed my E8400 today but then they were a bit high compared to my old specs.. I had my computer at 3.5ghz with 1.32 volts with 53degrees on orthos stress test.. Then I went up to 3.7ghz with 1.36volts but I had like 60degrees on orthos.. what a big diff! I'm on air cooling..

Yup. I started my tweaking last night, and got up to about 2.88G before the system wouldn't boot. Alright, I reset the CMOS ( A Process, me being slow) and the computer booted. Alright. I go to start again, and the External Clock is now set to 6, as opposed to 8. And yes, before I get slammed, C1E and Speedstep are both off.
