Colds are such a common disease and we all get them a couple of times throughout the year. They are hard to avoid at the best of times, but why is it that some people seem determined to help spread their colds by sneezing and wheezing all over the place? Admittedly, it can be hard to catch a sneeze every time as they sometimes come out quickly and surprise you.

The Southerly working it’s way up the country may have just hit. It’s been a cold wind most of the day, and now it is super dark inside at 3.45pm and grim and grey and wet outside. Really wet - it’s coming down fast and heavy and vertical. Makes me want to forget the rest of the things I need to do today and crawl into bed and go to sleep.

The word “Attar”, or oud which can be otherwise called as ‘Otto’, comes from the Persian word meaning “To smell sweet” . It is the Purest form of perfume that doesn’t consist of any alcoholic property or any chemicals. Attar is one of the most volatile oils which is very pure and smooth with a deep and strong odor.

COUGH SYRUP: Put 1 tablespoon elecampane, 3 tablespoons boneset, 1 tablespoon coltsfoot, 1 tablespoon Irish Moss and 1 tablespoon of lobelia in a pint of water. Boil down to half the liquid. Strain well and add 1 pint of honey. Refrigerate and take by the tablespoon as needed for cough.

That’s how I feel today. That and I can’t think of a catchy title. In all honesty I don’t feel that bad after my nap this morning. [Thanks Tucker!] I’ve been sick for the past three weeks and though I haven’t ever run a fever I have had this obnoxious sore throat and now I’m coughing up green stuff.
