Was going to title this post "Sayonara AgencySpy" but that would imply that AgencySpy, the blog is folding, when it's just that the main spy, SuperSpy, is getting out of the blogging business. Says she got promoted and can't spend the time anymore. Trust me, though, she won't be able to entirely stay away.

Wow, I honestly was kidding about having people pay you to post - I really didn’t think someone was dumb enough to actually go ahead and do it! Anyhow, shortly after my previous article on the demise of copyranter’s blog, I learned that the site was not going to be shut-down as originally planned….It’s kind of like when people claim they’re going to delete their twitter account….

It appears I've preached a premature eulogy. But it took him five days instead of the customary three. Still, let the enemies of truth and all who defend the black art of advertising tremble. No shop is safe from his sword and few are the ads that escape his wrath. Welcome back.

A fellow advertising blogger - Copyranter, announced last Friday that he was no longer going to be updating his widely popular site, citing that it takes up too much of his time/life to keep it updated at the rate that is necessary to maintain a popular blog (which is why brentter.com will sometimes go for short “breaks”).

We've all heard the tales of people who were alive when JFK was shot. They all have a similar story wherein everyone remembers "exactly where they were when they heard the news." My generation will have similar stories to tell our children when they ask, "Where were you when you found out Copyranter had quit blogging?" I will answer them thusly: "It was a Saturday morning about 8 AM.
