That passion turned out to be chocolate.

This Busy Bee is Making Progress!

    http://ronisweigh.com/ 2008/ 10/ this-busy-bee-is-making-progress.html

I FINALLY finished a chapter in my cookbook today. I can’t believe it. Only 4 more to go! Ugh! Why didn’t anyone tell me how time consuming it was going to be! I have to admit though, it’s fun. Beside the book, I experimented a bit in the kitchen, caught up on some blog reading, posted the first step in my series and even got a morning run in (more on that in a bit).

    Baked’s Peanut Butter Brownie Review

    http://www.cpbgallery.com/ 2008/ 10/ 07/ bakeds-peanut-butter-brownie-review/

Baked’s Peanut Butter Brownie Review October 7th, 2008 I wish I had taken a picture of this marvelous brownie with a bite taken out of it. It was so moist that the inside was glistening. Of course if i let myself think about how much butter it took to get it to glisten … well … i just prefer not to think about it.

Burnt & Strange - or, How to get a signed copy of my book

    http://www.deliciousdays.com/ archives/ 2008/ 10/ 07/ burnt-strange-or-how-to-ge…

These days I especially have a wish for one little skill: a very readable, pleasing to the eye and charming handwriting. Whenever somebody asks me to sign a copy of my book I'm a bit hesitant, because I know my handwriting just too well, and it is about as far from pretty as it can get.

    Sneak Preview: Grill It!

    http://getyourgrillon.net/ 2008/ 10/ 07/ sneak-preview-grill-it/

One of the benefits of writing here at Get Your Grill On is that occasionally we get a product, a book, or a food item to review. Usually these items are pretty good, sometimes great and rarely just plain awful. Most however are just pedestrian but we just received a new book in the mail that is extraordinary.

Is a $200 cookbook worth it?

    http://www.slashfood.com/ 2008/ 10/ 07/ is-a-200-cookbook-worth-it/

Filed under: British Isles, Books, Newspapers, Celebrities There's quite a bit of buzz about Heston Blumenthal's new cookbook, at least on the other side of the pond.
