    Would you pay list price?

    http://minneapolisguy.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 05/ 12/ would-you-pay-list-price/

It’s a simple question. Based on what I see in the market and what clients in our office are saying - most buyers would think we’d be crazy to suggest it. Another way to ask the question is, are you willing to pay a fair price for a good home that fits your lifestyle needs and wants?

    Condo Living In Denver

    http://realestate.webteka.pl/ condominiums/ condo-living-in-denver.html

As with many major cities across the nation, the Denver real estate market’s love for condos has continued unabated. Why is it that condos have become one of the most popular housing options ever? Much like the country’s former love for town homes, beach homes, and level entry homes, condos are a trend that is here to stay.

In an echo to what we see anecdotally — that the city market in gaining strength — another Realtor provides some good food for thought: Perhaps the single biggest trend afoot is the “centripetal” pull of the core neighborhoods — downtown, uptown, and the close-in suburbs.

    It’s a new market - Downtown Minneapolis

    http://minneapolisguy.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 04/ 28/ its-a-new-market-downtown-min…

In writing about the condo market in Downtown Minneapolis, and trying to bring the good news to people I meet along the way, I talk to and hear from plenty of home sellers who are uncomfortable with the market. Some are selling for less than they paid, some are happy to break even, and some have done quite well.

    Citibank Screws Buyer

    http://minneapolisguy.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 04/ 26/ citibank-screws-buyer/

An agent in our office recently sold a bank-owned property in north Minneapolis. As the closing date approached, complications arose with the buyer’s loan. As was the buyer’s option by the terms of the Purchase Agreement contract, the buyer chose to cancel the Purchase Agreement with the hope that he could get through the loan complications and eventually buy the home.

The price per gallon in England ( although they use litres now) is probably close to around $6! The effect of this is to drive the auto makers to produce smaller more economical cars.

    Buying a Home…

    http://minneapolisguy.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 04/ 25/ buying-a-home/

…is more than an investment. A home is not an ATM or a hedge fund. It can be an excellent and safe long-term investment that, more importantly, is also the roof over our head and the backdrop of our memories. The current real estate market is one that is slow for sellers and offers buyers plenty of choice.
