Loaded Up! May 14th, 2008 There is something good in the air. *wink wink* Thanks to all the support and all the hard work, NottyPooch Design is taking potentially four commissioned T projects this month! Yes, FOUR! While some may not be entirely depending on our creativity (ahem), but we see all these as a chance for us to explore more possibilities and to load ourselves up with some sales.

Well well well, the book has arrived, after months, and I do literally mean months, of editing, deleting, musing, much scratching of chin, it’s finally arrived. And guess what?  Despite proof reading it 4 times(!), there are still 3 stupid mistakes, I made.  When you get your hands on it see if you can spot them!

We’ve got another commissioned-T worked out - well this wasn’t exactly a business, simply because it was ‘commissioned’ by my family! lol Anyway, since it’s from our family, guess who would be the best model? My niece a.k.a the princess, of course.

Latest Work - Adilah & Sascha May 1, 2008 – 1:39 pm Photographer/Retoucher - www.hafizismail.net Client - Adilah & Sascha Date - 20 April 2008 Adilah emailed me two months before her wedding and we met 3 weeks before the actual event. I get to only meet Sascha on the day itself.

The Council on Foreign Relations and MediaStorm have collaborated to produce a new online multimedia feature, Crisis Guide: The Israeli-Palestinian Conflict. Using a comprehensive array of audio, video, imagery, and text, the guide offers an in-depth look at the history of the conflict and its geopolitical repercussions.

A little about my creative process when commissioned to do graphic design work. Creative Brief - After first meeting with a new client, I like to have them fill out a Creative Brief form that I send them by email. This gives me valuable information about their company and their needs that I refer to as I develop their designs.

A collaborative mural for Night and Day Gallery during a Tiger Translate YHBF3 event. Commissioned by Tiger Beer. Done "live" by Andy Yang, Mindflyer and me using acrylic on canvas. With touch-up help from Fei and various bar guests. It was challenging but interesting working with artists who have different styles and ideas on how this should turn out.
