Outsourced parenting: Sexism, racial inequality and ambivalence
http://whattamisaid.blogspot.com/ 2008/ 10/ outsourced-parenting-sexism-racial.h…It is probably heresy for the editor of a parenting blog to admit ambivalence about parenting, but here's the deal: I've never had a strong desire to be a parent. I like children. I enjoy the wonder with which they view the world. I love their guilelessness and energy. I like to teach them things.

Debate 2008 — Biden bungled, Palin persuaded! the California ex-Dem feminist take…
http://vbonnaire.wordpress.com/ 2008/ 10/ 03/ debate-2008-biden-bungled-palin-pe…October 3, 2008 Well, let’s just say that the debate was a HUGE SURPRISE! Given the way that I have watched the media savage Hillary Clinton, and the way that they seemed to be trying to do that to Palin as well, lately, I was curious. She was truimphant in this debate.

bad ideas like bad pennies keep turning up
http://lquilter.net/ blog/ archives/ 2008/ 09/ 27/ bad-ideas-like-bad-pennies-ke…A Louisiana state Representative is considering a plan to pay poor women to have their tubes tied, to stave off additional reproduction by undesirables. One wonders just how bad history classes have to be in Louisiana for John LaBruzzo to have actually failed to learn about the many, many times

You Can’t Take My Braids From Me!
http://dwarfpriest.com/ 2008/ 09/ 16/ you-cant-take-my-braids-from-me/The increasing homogenization of the classes in the WotLK beta has me a bit worried. What if we haven’t even seen the half of it yet? What if morons are putting in-game ticket reports RIGHT NOW asking for more ridiculous changes in the name of “game balance?” And what if Blizzard is listening? The homogenization has to stop now. There are serious things at stake.

Heather Mallick: Another Reason Canada Does Not Deserve To Be The 51st State
http://www.melissaclouthier.com/ 2008/ 09/ 10/ heather-mallick-another-reason-ca…So some female Canadian journalist Heather Mallick waxes elephant about the plebe Sarah Palin. I read this at Rachel Lucas first. Her response is full of “picque”. You might have to be French Canadian to understand that word. Rachel also goes after the idjits who feel that a random judge has more sense than the constitution.

High Theory and Exclusion
http://doingfeminism.com/ 2008/ 09/ 09/ high-theory-and-exclusion/I’m really busy since school has started, but I definitely intend to keep this blog going with a few posts per week, even if they are shorter ones.
