Like many news websites, Google has built a website dedicated to coverage of the 2008 election. On the Google 2008 U.S. Election page users will find all types of user generated content as well as stories from popular news outlets like CBS News. The part of the website that I like the most is the Elections '08 Map Gallery.

This is a strange thing for me to say, because I never feel this kind of pride.  But this video is what makes me love America.  I wish I felt like this more often about my country.

You know that old saw? That one about ‘those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it?’ [Hint: It was a chart-topper for George Santayana in 1904 or so.] Not everyone does. Remembering history has other benefits, too - when you recall the past, you avoid hyperbole that makes you look like a fool.

    Kerry and Obama: Similar Endings

Susan Estrich pens an interesting opinion here. A rabid Hillary supporter, she is of course biased in her thoughts. She suggests that Hillary’s fans are not going to bow down to Obama and many will vote for McCain just to spite the ONE.
