Classical Education Just recently I’ve become very interested in Classical Education and in particular, Charlotte Mason. I’ve found a website that follows her teachings and offers a great deal of information at no cost. Ambleside Online has booklist and weekly schedules for each grade and it’s very well organized.

I missed out on Dana's Homeschool Talk yesterday. Did you know that if you want to catch previous episodes you can just hop over to the blog radio and replay them? I think it is great that she's doing this for the community. She's right on up there with Spunky Homeschool and Consent of the Governed on keeping homeschoolers up to date on the issues that are important to us.

Over at the Heart of the Matter, they are instructing you to listen for the sound of Pajamas, Coffee, Tea, and Freebies … the sound of “comfort” in your own home. They are promising five fun filled days of goofing off by your computer with a cup of joe (or tea, or some other beverage that speaks of relaxation) while you pick the brains of the well-known bloggers you admire.

There are almost 6000 Yahoo Groups under the Homeschooling category. You will find groups for all different formats, ages and sects of homeschooling. Some require membership to view posts and participate, and some are public forums.

I just had to share this with everyone! I have not subscribed to the Old Schoolhouse in the past due to the high price of a subscription to Canada. It was previously $40 or so to send to Canada, and has just recently dropped to $30 for a Canadian subscription.
