There were a few weeks there where everday that I blogged I would put forth commentary regarding the impending season.  I would note how it was a bit chilly, or how many days it was away from being officially fall.  For me, while the official start date of fall came and went, it doesn’t really feel like fall to me until October.

Hey everyone:) Just to let you guys know, everything is going good since the horse incident. My little sister got a shot and all is well. Although I do believe that she is going to have a small scar on her shoulder there. Anyways, I thought I would share another recipe with you since it has been quite awhile.

Here’s a very simple and easy to make chocolate chip cake with real coffee. It’s crispy on the outside and has a cake-like texture on the inside. I love to eat these squares warm, with a glass of cold milk.

I'm one of those people who needs a regular hit of chocolate, so I made my own version of the famous Two Bite Brownies. I started by adapting an Epicurious recipe for a great cocoa brownie, since I know I will always have ingredients on hand and I streamlined the preparation, so I can get to eating them faster ;) I like to make up a batch and freeze them.

Oh My God! The best thing to happen to me in ages just happened in the middle of what is turning out to be a tedious, long and pain filled day.  There is a god or at least a benevolent force in the universe looking over my shoulder and making sure that today will not be the day when Jason comes home to find me slitting my own throat with a small spoon with a Tombliboo on the end of it.
