What do you think about my proposal?

    http://stevebrownetc.com/ blogs/ the-old-white-guy-blog/ what-do-you-think-about…

As some of you know, I preach/teach fairly often at Perimeter Church in Atlanta. I love the people there and their pastor, Randy Pope, is one of my heroes. It's as close as I'm ever going to get to being a pastor of a mega-church. I've always asked God to make me the pastor of a mega-church and told him, if he really loved me, he would.

    http://blogs.takepart.com/ 2008/ 10/ 07/ celebrate-and-accelerate-with-the-one-c…

The One Campaign always has great videos to get their message out and their latest is no exception.  Just out yesterday on YouTube, the newest One Campaign piece begins with the positive, something I always like, and celebrates all we have done to make the world better.  It then goes into what we

    Critical Hits is a Trilogy

    http://www.critical-hits.com/ 2008/ 10/ 07/ critical-hits-is-a-trilogy/

From the Desk of the Editor-in-Chief: The time has come once again where we indulge in a little celebration. A little over three years ago, I started the conversations that would eventually lead to founding Critical Hits. Looking back, we definitely started a bit rocky, and it took us a while to find what we wanted to do with the site.

The air is filled with falling leaves, crisp cool air, apple pies, warm sweaters, and comfort foods.  Why don't we celebrate this season with fun prizes and sharing memories.

    Celebrate Child Health Day!

    http://blog.usa.gov:80/ roller/ govgab/ entry/ celebrate_child_health_day

The other day, I was startled to notice my 14-month-old watching me while I ate an apple. When I peeled it and handed it to him, his eyes lit up as he bit into it like a big kid (until he accidentally dropped it and our dog got it, and that was it).

    Thanksgiving.

    http://www.takkijen.com/ 2008/ 10/ thanksgiving.html

Much as I'm looking forward to Halloween, I'm really more excited for Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite (if not my favorite) holidays ever. This year, my dad will be with us and my cousins from Vegas will be joining us as well, together with my sister.

Halloween - Limit the Candy Chaos…or Not?

    http://whatscookingblog.com/ 2008/ 10/ 05/ halloween-limit-the-candy-chaosor-not…

Halloween - Limit the Candy Chaos…or Not? It’s almost Halloween. You know what that means…The kids are asking for a different costume every other day and are lured by treats placed strategically near the checkout stands at the market.
