This post is the first in a series by bloggers and podcasters who are speaking at the Catholic New Media Celebration. The conference will be held in Atlanta on June 22. Between now and the conference will be featuring guest posters who will talk about the conference and the effect of “new media” (blogs, podcasts, vidcasts, etc.) on evangelization.

  ATLANTA—Every year, tens of thousands of Catholics flock to the Georgia International Convention Center for the Eucharistic Congress, a diverse gathering that reaches outto people of many nations, cultures and races. This year, on the day following the Congress, those working in a new brand of ministry will be gathering at the GICC.
