As I mentioned in a post last month, Panama City’s historic district, Casco Antiguo (also known as Casco Viejo), has become one of the hottest places to buy property in the city. I came across a nice site today that allows you to take a virtual tour of the Casco, and visit some of the landmarks of the area.

The first leg of vacation brought us to Panama City, Panama. With not much in my mind except the Panama Canal, this city actually blew me away. It reminded me of Miami of about 15 years ago when the South Beach area was just getting renovated and the rest of the city was high rise apartment towers.

Rows of shops selling beach buckets and flip-flops line the sea front of Benidorm, the Costa Blanca’s largest and liveliest resort town where hordes of tourists throng the streets 24 hours a day. Of the thousands who come to holiday here on the town’s three miles (5km) of white sandy beaches each year, many have stayed and purchased apartments in the numerous blocks that now dot the skyline.

next time in panama, take a educational tour in panama city. so you can learn about panama city. this should or could be your sked. please check with the local tour operator. saturday...............only.............partial transit of the canal it takes about 3-5 hours depending on the canal traffic.
